Promoting Independence South West is a mentoring and support service for Adults and Young People with various complex needs such as Neurodivergence, cognitive and sensory needs, neglect issues, drug and alcohol misuse, homelessness, domestic violence and mental health needs
We work with our clients both within the community, and in their own homes.

Our Approach
A diverse range of mentoring & support
The team's specialism covers a diverse range of mentoring/support, from daily living tasks such as, cooking, budgeting, shopping, to accessing public transport, groups, activities out in the community, reitergration back into the community after formal treatment (under the Mental Health Act 1983), education, and any interests in voluntary and/or paid work. We also support those with more complex social care needs, ranging from those with challenging behaviours, cognitive decline, Brain Injury, Homelessness, Drug & Alcohol dependencies Mental Health, Trauma and self neglect issues.
Promoting Independence South West are registered with The Care and Quality Commission, and work in partnership with Cornwall Council and Kernow NHS Commissioning Group
